Welke kleine meid (of jongen) houdt er niet van om zich te verkleden?  Mijn meisje vindt het alleszins heel erg leuk.  En de eenhoorns zijn natuurlijk ook heel erg leuk, dus verkleden als eenhoorn maakt alles natuurlijk nog leuker. 
Bij Rebecca Page is nu een leuke Eenhoorn Cape (of hoe je hem wil maken, laat je creativiteit de vrije loop) te koop, als je helemaal los wil gaan is hij er in kindermaten en volwassen maten.  Dus van heel klein tot heel groot.

Velocitas

Sofilantjes lanceerde enkele dagen geleden haar nieuwste patroontje.  Natuurlijk maakte ik het nieuwe patroontje ook en wat een leuk patroontje is het alweer.  Voor jongens? Ja natuurlijk, maar ook voor meisjes.

Sofilantjes has a new pattern. And yes, of course I made this one too.  What a fun pattern.  Boy pattern? Yes. Girl pattern? Yes

Ik maakte deze voor mijn meisje en ze ziet er super uit.  Ze vind het ook zelf een hele leuke trui.  Grote fan van zakken, dus daar was ze heel blij mee.  Het patroontje heeft 2 verschillende colorblock opties, en er zit ook een colorblock in de mouwen, die kort of lang kunnen zijn. 

I made it for my girl and she looks stunning and likes it a lot.  The pattern has 2 different colorblocking options.  And even the sleeves have a colorblock, they come in short and long version.  

Het patroontje is er vanaf 12 maanden tot 14 jaar, dus lange tijd om er van te genieten.

Maci

Alweer een meisjespatroon, Maci / "meissie"  Een patroontje van Bella Sunshine Designs, dat staat vandaag in de kijker.  En ook dit patroontje is wel heel leuk om mee in de kijker te zetten.

Another girlpattern, Maci.  A pattern from Bella Sunshine Designs, it's in today's spotlight.  This pattern is very nice to be put in the spotlight.

 

Het patroontje is er van 6 maanden tot 12 jaar.  Niene past nog steeds in 92 (2j), maar die moet wel verlengd worden naar 4j (daar kan ze nog een beetje in groeien).

The pattern goes from 6 months up to 12 years.  Niene still fits in 2y, but this has to be lenghtened to 4y (which gives her a little length to grow).

Het patroontje is er in 3 lengtes, top, tuniek en jurk.  Ik maakte de eerste keer een jurkje (het roze bloemenjurkje zoals je kan zien).  Roze is hier nog steeds Niene's favoriete kleur, dus ze was dan ook heel blij met het kleedje.  En dat het kan zwieren, vindt ze ook heel erg leuk.

The pattern has 3 'skirt' lengths: top, babydoll and dress.  I first made the dress (the pink dress as you can see).  Pink is still Niene's favorite color, so she was very happy with the dress.  It can twirl and she loves that too.

Omdat het zo warm is de laatste tijd, kwam er ook een top-versie.  En ook aan deze beleeft ze veel plezier, lekker licht en luchtig in dit warme weer.  Zelfs met de korte versie kan je supergoed zwieren.

Because it has been hot the last few days and even weeks, I made a top too.  And this has been a lot of fun for her too, light and fun to play in.  Even with this top there's a lot to twirl.

En dat deze meer dan goedgekeurd is, kan je zien aan hoe de fotoshoot zonder probleem verliep.  Deze keer moest ik haar helemaal niet omkopen en zijn dit zelfs nog niet alle goede foto's.

And this one has been more than approved, you can see it on the photo's I took.  I had no problem at all and didn't even have to bribe her to get some good shots. I even have some good shots, which I didn't publish.

Yay - Google translate zegt me dat dit Turks is voor strikje. 
En zo kwam ik dus op de titel voor deze blogpost.  Vandaag staat het patroon Bow Tie Leggings in de kijker bij Bella Sunshine Designs.
Ik wilde natuurlijk graag helpen om dit in de kijker te zetten, want Niene draagt graag kleedjes, maar ja, ze is nog een kleuter en doet niets liever dan dat kleedje dan omhoog te doen. 
Ik heb liever dat niet iedereen haar ondergoed ziet, dus een legging is dan een goede oplossing.
Maar met de warme temperaturen die er al geweest zijn en nog komen is een echte legging wel warm, wel de Bow Tie Legging heeft 4 verschillende lengtes, en ik maakte dus de mini shorts.

Today Bow Tie Leggings is in Bella Sunshine Designs spotlight, and I decided to help her doing this.  Niene loves to wear dresses, but being a toddler, she loves to take her dress/skirt up.  I don't like the idea that everyone can see her underwear, so a legging is a good solution.
Temperature's have been high around here and are rising again, so a long legging is a bit hot, but the advantage the Bow Tie Legging has, it has 4 different lenghts.  I made the minishorts.

Er zijn ook 2 verschillende breedte's, nauwaansluitend en iets wijder.  En natuurlijk het strikje.  

Ik maakte intussen al 4 mini shorts, 3 voorlopig nog zonder strikje, maar Niene wil die er toch nog aan, dus er komen er wel nog met strikje ook.

There are 2 different widths too and of course the bow.  I've made 4 mini shorts so 4, 3 don't have the bow yet, but Niene loves the bow, so there will follow more.

En er verscheen alweer een heel leuk patroontje op het wereldwijde web.  

Qwintha van Larth maakte een superleuk patroontje voor een jumpsuit.  Oorspronkelijk gemaakt voor rekbare stoffen, maar het kan ook met niet-rekbare stoffen.

There's a new pattern on the net.  A very nice one from Qwintha from Larth.  Originally it was intended to be made with stretch fabrics, but you can make it with fabrics which don't have stretch too.

Mijn eerste testversie was met een rekbaar stofje.  Het patroontje is heel makkelijk en duidelijk en eens geknipt, zit het zo in elkaar.  Patroontje gaat van 18 maanden tot en met 6 jaar.

My first testversion was one with a fabrich that had stretch.  The pattern is very easy to follow and make.  Once the fabric is cut, it's made in no time.  The pattern is available from 18 months untill 6 years.

 

Zelf maakte ik beide keren eentje met lange pijpen, maar het kan ook met korte pijpen en het kan zelfs aangepast worden naar een jurkje.

Mijn tweede werd er eentje met een niet-rekbaar stofje.  Deze zat ook in mijn Kids Clothes Week, maar werd toen nog niet geblogd.
My second one is one I made with a fabric which doesn't have stretch (or minimal).  This one I made during my Kids Clothes week, but kept unblogged untill the pattern was released.

Vivax

Vivax staat voor 'levendig'.  Ik kan niets anders zeggen, dan dat ons meisje een levendig meisje is.  Met drie broers moet ze natuurlijk haar mannetje kunnen staan.
Vivax is ook het nieuwste patroon van Sofilantjes.  Gelukkig mocht ik alweer testen voor Anne. En zo heeft Niene terug een paar kleedjes bij in haar kast.

Vivax kan zowel als top of als jurkje gemaakt worden.  Ik maakte het jurkje.
Er zijn ook 2 halslijnopties.  Bij mij zie je de kraag. 
En daarbij zijn dan nog eens 5 verschillende mouwopties.  Ik koos voor de lange mouwen uit 2 delen.
En zoals je kan zien zijn er ook heel leuke zakjes.

Vivax translates as full of life. I can't say anything else than the fact that our girl is full of life. She has 3 big brothers and has to take care of herself.
Vivax is also the new pattern from Sofilantjes.  I was very lucky to be one of the testers for Ann. That makes Niene has some new dresses in her closet.

Vivax can be made as a top or a dress. I made the dress option.
There are 2 neckline options. It's quite cold around here, so I made her the dress with collar.
And there are also 5 sleeve options. I chose the long sleeves with 2 parts.
And as you can see the Vivax has some cute pockets.

Nee, nee... denk maar niet aan het liedje..., maar wel aan een leuk jurkje dat ik heb gemaakt.  Ook dit keer een patroontje dat nog niet zo lang gereleased is, namelijk de 'Alice Pleated Dress' van Bella Sunshine Designs.  Ja, inderdaad, een Engelstalig patroon, maar ik maak wel meer anderstalige patronen, dus ook dit lukt zonder veel moeite.  Het is een patroontje voor een klassiek kleedje, met een leuk kraagje.

Het stofje lag al lang... heel erg lang in de stoffenkast.  Ik kocht het jaren geleden, toen ik pas begon met naaien.  Eerste bedoeling was een rokje voor mij.  Eerlijk is eerlijk, ik draag nauwelijks rokken, dus bleef het liggen.  Toen ik het patroontje zag voorbijkomen, wist ik het... Voorbestemd om dit stofje te gebruiken.
En indien je ook interesse hebt in dit patroontje, het is er vanaf 6 maanden tot 12 jaar.  Ga gerust eens kijken : HIER  (en dan is dit enkel de meisjesversie, er is ook een volwassen versie)

I was going for the schoolgirl and I think it works.  The little collar just adds the finishing touch.

Zahara

Weten jullie nog dat ik een tijdje geleden de Nilah testte voor Sansahash?
Do you remember I blogged about the Nilah from Sansahash?

Nu zijn ze er weer met een nieuw patroontje de Zahara.  Nee, deze keer testte ik niet mee, want de Zahara leek me toch echt te zomers om nu te maken.
Now they're back with a new pattern, the Zahara.  No, I didn't take part of the testing this time, because the Zahara looked to much to be something for summer.

En toen zag ik de leuke feestelijke Zahara-versies voorbij komen.

De Zahara is er in de Peplum en Jurkjes- versie.
Zoals je kan zien, maakte ik de Peplum, omdat die mij super leek.
De Zahara heeft prinsessennaden in het voorpand en achteraan een blinde rits.  De rok is een cirkelrok, dus ideaal om te zwieren. En hij gaat van piepklein (6 maand) tot de net geen grote dames (12j)

As you can see, I made the Peplum, it looks so great.
The Zahara has princess seams in the front and is closed with a blind zipper at the back.  The skirt is ideal to twirl around.

Sofi-combi

Jaja, ik weet het... alweer Sofilantjes (link in zijbalk), maar ja, wat wil je als het leuke patroontjes zijn.

Ik twijfelde heel lang, zou ik een kleedje maken met combi Nivalis/Liv of gewoon apart.

Uiteindelijk ging ik voor 'apart' - Nivalis top - Liv rokje en als ze ze allebei aanheeft, kan je zelfs denken dat het een kleedje is.

Yes, I know... Sofilantjes (link in side-bar) again... But what can I do, the patterns are so lovely, you can't resist.
I doubted for a long time... A combi Nivalis/Liv dress or making them apart.

I finally chose the Nivalis top and the Liv skirt, when they're together it almost looks like a dress, but I still can combine with another top or skirt/trousers if I want.

 Stofje komt van bij Droomstoffen (link in zijbalk), mijn man was helemaal niet overtuigd van het stofje, maar toen Niene het eenmaal aan had, kwam er toch.... 'Ik had niet gedacht dat het mooi ging zijn, maar ze past er toch mee.'  Zo zie je maar, stofjes kunnen toch helemaal anders uitdraaien op de rol/in de kast dan verwerkt in een kledingstuk.

Fabric is from Droomstoffen (link in side-bar).  When I ordered it, my husband wasn't convinced at all (His words: 'I don't like it).  But when she finally put the shirt and skirt on, he changed his mind.  'Never thought it would turn out looking good, but it does.'  So you can see, a fabric in the shop or in your fabric stash isn't the same once finally made in a shirt/skirt/dress...

En zoals je kan zien is Niene ook helemaal fan.  Volleerd fotomodel deze keer, ze had heel veel zin om op de foto te gaan.

And Niene likes the combo too. She acted like a real model, it was a pleasure taking pics, no running around or convincing.

Allium

Een tijdje geleden dat ik nog eens iets voor mezelf naaide, maar nu dus toch nog eens.
Ik mocht voor Sew Like My Mom de Tulipa Dolman testen voor mijn meisje, maar nu heeft ze ook het volwassen patroontje de Allium Dolman.
En alhoewel ik niet vlug aan twinning doe, wilde ik het patroontje wel eens voor mezelf maken ook, net omdat het al een hele tijd geleden was dat ik voor mezelf genaaid had.

It has been quite a while since I had sewn something for myself, 'till now.
Not so long ago I could test the Tulipa Dolman from Sew Like My Mom for my little girl.  Now Melissa has the adult version : Alllium Dolman.
 I don't usually do twinning, but I really wanted to sew this pattern for myself.

Mijn stoffenkast bestaat eigenlijk vooral uit kinderstofjes, dus veel keuze had ik niet, maar het patroontje is wel heel leuk, dus binnenkort maar eens op stofjesjacht voor mezelf.

My fabric stash is almost only for my little girl, so I didn't have a whole lot of choice.  But I really like the pattern, so I have to go fabric hunting for myself soon.

Over het patroontje kan ik eigenlijk heel kort zijn, net als de Tulipa is het een super patroontje, gaat op dezelfde manier om het aan elkaar te naaien, dus problemen heb ik niet gehad.

What can I say about the pattern?  Well just like the Tulipa it's a great pattern.  You have the top, tunic and dress version and it's very easy and quick to put together.
Maar als je echt aan twinning wilt doen, is de combi Tulipa en Allium Dolman dus heel erg leuk.

And if you really want to do twinning, the combination Tulipa and Allium Dolman is a really nice combo to have.
