Louise

We blijven doorgaan in de meisjesnamen.   We keep continuing using girl  names as blog title.
Louise is het nieuwste patroontje van Misusu Patterns.  Louise is the newest pattern from Misusu Patterns.

Deze moest niet persé zomers zijn.  This one didn't have to be a very summery one, rather something in between.

Een leuke combo, stretch en katoen.  A nice combo stretch and cotton.

Een truitje (er is ook een kleedjes-versie), anders dan anders.  A sweater (theres's also a dress-version), something different.

Vooraan lichte sweaterstof, achterkant katoen.  De achterkant komt naar voor, omdat de voorkant speciaal gevormd is.  En zakken!  Front is made of a light sweater, the back is cotton.  And it has pockets!
Vooraan is de trui ook korter dan achteraan, de zogenaamde high-low.  And it 's a high-low

Savannah

En ook Savannah werd een zomerkleedje.
Ik mocht al eerder testen voor Pickle Toes Patterns en was toen heel blij met wat er van onder de naaimachine kwam.
Ja hoor, nu ook.  Ik maakte de simpele versie (meestal ben ik meer fan van de simpele versie van een patroontje).

Savannah is a new summer dress for my girl.
I got to test for Pickle Toes Patterns before and was very happy with the result.
That's why I decided to apply to test for this dress too.  I made the simple version (I often am a fan of the simple versions of a pattern).

Het patroontje heeft als je wil ook pofmouwtjes en een hartvormige opsplitsing vooraan, daarvoor kan je zeker eens kijken bij de andere testers.
Behalve de mouwtjes en de colorblock vooraan, heeft het patroontje ook nog een bubble-skirt ook of enkele of dubbele gerimpelde rok.

The pattern has more princess options if you want.  It has puff sleeves and a heartshaped front if you want.  Be sure to take a look what other pattern testers did with it.

Not only it has the puff sleeves option or the mock sweetheart bodice, you also have the option to do a bubble skirt or a single or double gathered skirt.

Kamaria

De zomer in het hoofd, maar nog niet helemaal in het echt.  De vieze beestjes blijven hier nog even in de lucht hangen jammergenoeg.

Summer in my head, not yet in real life.  Colds and other deseases still are in our house unfortunately.

                     

Toch laat het zonnetje een lentegevoel achter, en dat laat zich ook zien in de zich opvullende kleerkast.  Het volgende kleedje werd de Kamaria, helemaal nieuw patroontje van Sansahash. (even klikken om het te vinden)

But the closet of our little girl has to be filled, now breathing spring and summer.  The next dress I made was the Kamaria, a very new pattern from Sansahash. (click to find the pattern)

Wat twijfelde ik lang over welk stofje ik hiervoor zou gebruiken.  Uiteindelijk werd het een stofje dat ik vorig jaar won bij By Eva Maria (schande schande dat het zo lang in de kast bleef liggen).

Maar toch vond ik het ideaal en zomers voor dit jurkje.

I doubted for a very long (okay, ... not so very) time what fabric to use.  I chose a fabric I won last year and stayed in the closet for the ideal project.  This dress is it!  Light and shouting summer.

De Kamaria heeft iets heel luchtigs en speels, ideaal voor mijn kleine meid.  De Kamaria is er ook niet alleen als kleedje, maar ook met shortversie ipv rok en gewoon als top ook.  

The Kamaria has something light and playfull, ideal for my little girl.  The pattern not only comes as a dress, but also as a sunsuit and top only.

Laat de zomer nu maar komen!

Baa-Baa

Schaapje schaapje heb je witte wol... was het eerste waar ik aan dacht toen ik de titel voor deze blogpost schreef.  En toch heeft deze blogpost niets met wol te maken.  Wel met een lief kleedje.
Puperita's nieuwe patroon het Baa-Baa-kleedje is vanaf vandaag te koop en ik heb het al gemaakt.
Een kleedje met leuke zakjes aan de voorkant.

Een kleedje met leuke zakjes niet speciaal genoeg voor jou?  Geen probleem, het is ook omkeerbaar.  Nee, niet gewoon voorkant achteraan dragen, maar wel als in binnenkant/buitenkant.  Ook de mogelijkheid om te color-blocken als je dit wenst.
En natuurlijk ideaal om mee te spelen.

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool... was the first thing that entered my mind when I wrote the title of this blogpost.  And yet this post has nothing to do with sheep or wool.It has everything with a cute dress I made and that Puperita releases today, the Baa-Baa dress.  A cute dress with nice pockets in front.
I already made my 'simple' version of the dress.  I chose a plain fabric and as second fabric I  chose fabric with flowers I had laying around in my stash.

When you think the pockets aren't special enough, you can see the back can be color-blocked (or not) and as a very nice extra, it's fully reverible, which means it can be turned inside-out and if you wish you can have 2 completely different dresses in one. (I chose to keep it simple and the inside is almost completely simple red, except for the back)
It's an ideal dress to play around.

Run 'n Play Dress and Romper

En ik mocht nog een patroontje testen.  Dit keer de Run 'n Play Dress and Romper van Peek-a-boo.

Ik mocht het kleedje testen voor mijn meisje.  Een vlug en gemakkelijk projectje, met het warme weer hier een aanrader.

Je kan de bandjes aan de achterkant op verschillende manieren vastnaaien, ik gebruikte de 'basic' manier.

Het patroontje gaat van 3 maanden tot 12jaar.

Another pattern I could test, from Peek-a-boo, the Run 'n Play Dress and Romper.
I could test the dress for my girl.  Quick and easy project, love it, and with hot weather here, it's great.
You can use different ways to sew the straps to the back, I used the basic.
Pattern goes from 3 months to 12years.
