Kamaria

De zomer in het hoofd, maar nog niet helemaal in het echt.  De vieze beestjes blijven hier nog even in de lucht hangen jammergenoeg.

Summer in my head, not yet in real life.  Colds and other deseases still are in our house unfortunately.

                     

Toch laat het zonnetje een lentegevoel achter, en dat laat zich ook zien in de zich opvullende kleerkast.  Het volgende kleedje werd de Kamaria, helemaal nieuw patroontje van Sansahash. (even klikken om het te vinden)

But the closet of our little girl has to be filled, now breathing spring and summer.  The next dress I made was the Kamaria, a very new pattern from Sansahash. (click to find the pattern)

Wat twijfelde ik lang over welk stofje ik hiervoor zou gebruiken.  Uiteindelijk werd het een stofje dat ik vorig jaar won bij By Eva Maria (schande schande dat het zo lang in de kast bleef liggen).

Maar toch vond ik het ideaal en zomers voor dit jurkje.

I doubted for a very long (okay, ... not so very) time what fabric to use.  I chose a fabric I won last year and stayed in the closet for the ideal project.  This dress is it!  Light and shouting summer.

De Kamaria heeft iets heel luchtigs en speels, ideaal voor mijn kleine meid.  De Kamaria is er ook niet alleen als kleedje, maar ook met shortversie ipv rok en gewoon als top ook.  

The Kamaria has something light and playfull, ideal for my little girl.  The pattern not only comes as a dress, but also as a sunsuit and top only.

Laat de zomer nu maar komen!

Run 'n Play Dress and Romper

En ik mocht nog een patroontje testen.  Dit keer de Run 'n Play Dress and Romper van Peek-a-boo.

Ik mocht het kleedje testen voor mijn meisje.  Een vlug en gemakkelijk projectje, met het warme weer hier een aanrader.

Je kan de bandjes aan de achterkant op verschillende manieren vastnaaien, ik gebruikte de 'basic' manier.

Het patroontje gaat van 3 maanden tot 12jaar.

Another pattern I could test, from Peek-a-boo, the Run 'n Play Dress and Romper.
I could test the dress for my girl.  Quick and easy project, love it, and with hot weather here, it's great.
You can use different ways to sew the straps to the back, I used the basic.
Pattern goes from 3 months to 12years. 

Domi Sweat Pants - Sofilantjes

Sofilantjes maakte een nieuw patroon -- Domi sweat pants 
Lange broek, bermuda, short... keuze genoeg bij dit leuke patroontje.
 En zelfs de zakken kan je kiezen, rond of recht.
 Alsof ze het wist, mocht ik de lange versie met de ronde zakken testen, en toevallig wou ik die ook het liefst doen.
Supergemakkelijk te maken patroontje, met goede instructies, zoals bij alle Sofilantjes-patroontjes.
Het patroon voorziet ook plaats voor een touwtje.
(zoonlief vindt die niet leuk, dus na de fotoshoot ging de boordband eraf en ging er een nieuwe aan, zonder de touwtjes).
Intussen al een favoriete broek van zoonlief.

Even the pockets, round or straight.
As if she knew what I wanted to make, I could test the long pants with round pockets.
Easy to make with good instructions!

Harvey Tee

Toen ik de 'test-call' voor deze t-shirt zag van de 'Harvey Tee' van OUSMD zag, wilde ik wel graag meedoen.  T-shirt met een v-hals en leuk accent met korte of lange mouwen.

Ik mocht de versie met de lange mouwen testen, en koos zelf ook het accent voor en achteraan.

En ook deze werd goedgekeurd en er zullen er zeker nog volgen!

Jense mocht op school ook optreden (en het shirt is niet geheel trek-proof)

When I saw the test-call for 'the Harvey Tee from OUSMD' , I certainly wanted to apply.  A shirt with v-neck and nice detail on front and back.

I got to test the long sleeved version and added the detail both in the front and at the back.  And yes it fits like a glove!

It 's kid approved and there were follow more for sure.

My boy had a performance at school too, that's why I put the guitar on.  And it 's not fully 'pull'-proof :) 

Wild Things Hooded Scarf

Zomerse temperaturen, wie denkt dan aan de winter?
...
Nu ja... om te testen is 't natuurlijk wel heel leuk om eens aan de winter te denken en zeker met dit patroontje.
Wild of lief... hmmmm... je mag het zelf zeggen.

Ik mocht de "Wild Things Hooded Scarf" testen van Big Little.
Ooooh wat ben ik blij met het resultaat, jammergenoeg zal ons mevrouwtje er waarschijnlijk niet meer in kunnen als 't winter is.
Super makkelijk patroontje, met heel veel opties, veel 'wilde' dieren om te maken.  Ik maakte de beer met de langste sjaal.  
Maar je kan zoveel leuke dieren maken, zeker eens bekijken hoor, 't is echt de moeite.
En als 'extra'tje' bij het patroon zit ook een patroontje voor een staartje, leuk om in de verkleedbak te doen.

Hot in here, summer is coming... who would think of cold weather/clothes.

Well... me, 'cause I could test the "Wild Things Hooded Scarf" from Big Little.

As you can see, such a cute and wild pattern.  Very easy to make, so beginners, go ahead.
You can make lots of different animals and there are 3 options for the scarf.

I made the 'bear' with long scarf.  And as you can see, our little girl loves it.

The pattern has a 'little' extra too.  A tail-pattern, fun to put in the 'dress up'-closet.

Drew and Jesse

Maar eigenlijk 'gewoon' Jense in een 'Drew and Jesse' van Pollywoggles.

Alweer een patroontje getest, een superleuke, lekker warme pyama.

Ik heb het patroontjes testen helemaal ontdekt :) en vind het leuk om te helpen waar een patroon verbeterd kan worden.  

Ok, bij de testversie zitten de knielappen te laag, maar dit is een van de dingetjes die worden getest natuurlijk.  Maar knielappen die te laag zitten, dat is niet zo erg, want een pyama die warm is en lekker zit is super!.

Well... it 's just my youngest, Jense, in the Drew and Jesse pajama's from Pollywoggles.

I totally discovered testing patterns and am in love with it.

To help out testing the beautiful patterns designmakers make and taking out small problems.
In this version the kneepads were too low, but that's one of those little problems, that are changed with the eventual pattern.

Thumbs Up Tee by OUSM designs

Test-modus is aan.  Want ik mocht opnieuw testen, voor OUSM Designs deze keer.  Een hele leuke trui.  Leuk accent aan de schouders, en de duimen kunnen door de mouwboord, daarom ook de naam.

Het patroon was ook nu gemakkelijk te volgen en een superleuk extra'tje was de video-tutorial voor de duimgaten.

Het patroon werd gisteren gelanceerd en daarom is het patroon tot zondag te verkrijgen aan $5 met de code : THUMBSUP

I'm in testing-mode, because there was another pattern I could test.  The Thumbs Up Tee by OUSM Designs.  A very cool tee, with a nice touch on the arm/shoulder and the thumbs come peeping out.

The pattern was easy to follow and a nice extra was the video-tutorial for the thumb holes.

Pattern was released yesterday.

They are running a coupon promotion through midnight Sunday the pattern will be $5 with the code THUMBSUP.
