Sofi-combi

Jaja, ik weet het... alweer Sofilantjes (link in zijbalk), maar ja, wat wil je als het leuke patroontjes zijn.

Ik twijfelde heel lang, zou ik een kleedje maken met combi Nivalis/Liv of gewoon apart.

Uiteindelijk ging ik voor 'apart' - Nivalis top - Liv rokje en als ze ze allebei aanheeft, kan je zelfs denken dat het een kleedje is.

Yes, I know... Sofilantjes (link in side-bar) again... But what can I do, the patterns are so lovely, you can't resist.
I doubted for a long time... A combi Nivalis/Liv dress or making them apart.

I finally chose the Nivalis top and the Liv skirt, when they're together it almost looks like a dress, but I still can combine with another top or skirt/trousers if I want.

 Stofje komt van bij Droomstoffen (link in zijbalk), mijn man was helemaal niet overtuigd van het stofje, maar toen Niene het eenmaal aan had, kwam er toch.... 'Ik had niet gedacht dat het mooi ging zijn, maar ze past er toch mee.'  Zo zie je maar, stofjes kunnen toch helemaal anders uitdraaien op de rol/in de kast dan verwerkt in een kledingstuk.

Fabric is from Droomstoffen (link in side-bar).  When I ordered it, my husband wasn't convinced at all (His words: 'I don't like it).  But when she finally put the shirt and skirt on, he changed his mind.  'Never thought it would turn out looking good, but it does.'  So you can see, a fabric in the shop or in your fabric stash isn't the same once finally made in a shirt/skirt/dress...

En zoals je kan zien is Niene ook helemaal fan.  Volleerd fotomodel deze keer, ze had heel veel zin om op de foto te gaan.

And Niene likes the combo too. She acted like a real model, it was a pleasure taking pics, no running around or convincing.

Allium

Een tijdje geleden dat ik nog eens iets voor mezelf naaide, maar nu dus toch nog eens.
Ik mocht voor Sew Like My Mom de Tulipa Dolman testen voor mijn meisje, maar nu heeft ze ook het volwassen patroontje de Allium Dolman.
En alhoewel ik niet vlug aan twinning doe, wilde ik het patroontje wel eens voor mezelf maken ook, net omdat het al een hele tijd geleden was dat ik voor mezelf genaaid had.

It has been quite a while since I had sewn something for myself, 'till now.
Not so long ago I could test the Tulipa Dolman from Sew Like My Mom for my little girl.  Now Melissa has the adult version : Alllium Dolman.
 I don't usually do twinning, but I really wanted to sew this pattern for myself.

Mijn stoffenkast bestaat eigenlijk vooral uit kinderstofjes, dus veel keuze had ik niet, maar het patroontje is wel heel leuk, dus binnenkort maar eens op stofjesjacht voor mezelf.

My fabric stash is almost only for my little girl, so I didn't have a whole lot of choice.  But I really like the pattern, so I have to go fabric hunting for myself soon.

Over het patroontje kan ik eigenlijk heel kort zijn, net als de Tulipa is het een super patroontje, gaat op dezelfde manier om het aan elkaar te naaien, dus problemen heb ik niet gehad.

What can I say about the pattern?  Well just like the Tulipa it's a great pattern.  You have the top, tunic and dress version and it's very easy and quick to put together.
Maar als je echt aan twinning wilt doen, is de combi Tulipa en Allium Dolman dus heel erg leuk.

And if you really want to do twinning, the combination Tulipa and Allium Dolman is a really nice combo to have.

Louise

We blijven doorgaan in de meisjesnamen.   We keep continuing using girl  names as blog title.
Louise is het nieuwste patroontje van Misusu Patterns.  Louise is the newest pattern from Misusu Patterns.

Deze moest niet persé zomers zijn.  This one didn't have to be a very summery one, rather something in between.

Een leuke combo, stretch en katoen.  A nice combo stretch and cotton.

Een truitje (er is ook een kleedjes-versie), anders dan anders.  A sweater (theres's also a dress-version), something different.

Vooraan lichte sweaterstof, achterkant katoen.  De achterkant komt naar voor, omdat de voorkant speciaal gevormd is.  En zakken!  Front is made of a light sweater, the back is cotton.  And it has pockets!
Vooraan is de trui ook korter dan achteraan, de zogenaamde high-low.  And it 's a high-low
