Fruity Fun 2

Last time we had a Fruity Fun post, but there's a sequel.  The Fruity Fun was a series of different patterns.  Today is the release of the next Fruity Fun Pattern. A nice short dress is with boat neckline, kimono sleeves, optional low waist and pockets.

The pattern has 3 different options
View A: Dress with low waist skirt and optional pockets.
View B: Plain Dress with elasticised low waist.
View C: Plain Dress

I made view A and chose to make it in one fabric, but if you choose view A, you can easily work with 2 fabrics.  I also chose to add the pockets.

The pattern goes from 12 months to 10 years.  Today is the release and it has a nice sale price.

Fruity Fun

Summer, time for yummy fruit, but this blogpost has nothing to do with fruit.  It's been quite a while I tested for Puperita.  This time I saw the call for testers and I wanted to sew something new.  This time the Pinafore and Romper had to be tested.  For my girl, I tested the Jumper.

The pattern goes from newborn to 6 years.  Well it isn't just a pattern, it involves two different patterns.  Today is launchday and you can get it in sale, buy 1, download 2.

Not much more I can say about the pattern, it's very simple and quick to make.
If you're interested, you can go and check it out here

Baa-Baa

Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool... was the first thing that entered my mind when I wrote the title of this blogpost.  And yet this post has nothing to do with sheep or wool.It has everything with a cute dress I made and that Puperita releases today, the Baa-Baa dress.  A cute dress with nice pockets in front.
I already made my 'simple' version of the dress.  I chose a plain fabric and as second fabric I  chose fabric with flowers I had laying around in my stash.

When you think the pockets aren't special enough, you can see the back can be color-blocked (or not) and as a very nice extra, it's fully reverible, which means it can be turned inside-out and if you wish you can have 2 completely different dresses in one. (I chose to keep it simple and the inside is almost completely simple red, except for the back)
It's an ideal dress to play around.
